Hello Everyone.
Here are the details...
* You don't have to come in cosplay if you don't want to, but for those of you who've done it before and know what it's all about, it's generally encouraged that you do come in costume if you can.
* If possible, can you please contribute by bringing some snacks and drinks with you.
* For any cinema-going enthusiasts, the new Clash of the Titans film is scheduled for release at the beginning of April (2nd), and Dreamworks' "How to Train Your Dragon" (Pixar style animation) is scheduled for 26th March. Alice in Wonderland comes out on March 5th, but most people may have already seen it by the meet, and it may not be showing still by the time that comes around anyway. Still, there's a couple to think about if anyone wanted to go.
Hi guys i was thinking we need to spread the word of this event across different areas so i will be looking into event websites etc where we can post if anyone knows of any particular sites can you let me know thanks!
I've tried posting on Cosplay Island before, but nobody tends to reply to my threads on such things on there. It's a slow moving forum as well (bit like we are at the moment XD!)
I'm not sure if the MCM Expo forums would be alright? Hmm... _________________
I don't know about the dance at the moment, Tulin. The person who was organising that part of it may not be coming for reasons that are not my place to discuss. Nevertheless, she's not said anything about it following my announcement on Facebook after taking it down.
However, if there is still something like that which you'd like to do, then by all means suggest it. The problem is, we need people to help us organise different things to do as it's not an easy job keeping everyone together and keeping everyone happy with what they want to be doing. _________________
I think the dancing idea can still go ahead but what we really need is a portable sound system and not one that will completely disturb the peace of the gardens!
Heres my ideas but please everyone feel free to suggest other ideas and say if you are not that keen on an idea!
*Eat sandwiches, scones, drink tea (picnic) and potential mini games!
*Potential dancing - if anyone else wants to volunteer as the DJ I do not have a portable speaker but I do have a long list of anime/j-pop/rock/dance tunes!
*Quiz - just a mini one to break the ice - prize as usual to the group of winners!
*Man-hunt - great idea and had great fun in the past with this - potential prizes to be won too
*Cinema - as Mel said, a few good films are out by then - anyone have a preference?
*LaserQuest - They have to be Pre-Booked - so if you want to go LaserQuest with your buddies please contact them direct and pre-book and let us know so we can put it up as a suggestion (if there interest is there etc)
*Evening meal - I will pre-book a table so contact me ASAP if you want to join in for sure.
Also i think introducing mini games would be good - I have a few up my sleeve
As always we will need to start building a general time-table of events so suggestions are welcome! ^.^ _________________ Raye

I have an iPod with speakers that are portable and not mega loud so shouldn't disrupt too many people. I have a lot of anime/jpop/jrock songs but if anyone has any specific request i can get hold of them if people let me know I'm happy to bring it along if you want me to?
oh and i have the Hare Hare Yukai on there so we could go ahead with the dance on a smaller scale if you like?
I like the sound of a quiz that'll be fun I'm trying to think of what other games we could play... hmmm. (i'll get back to you on that haha)
I really Like The Idea Of Man Hunt/Hide And Seek It Wud Be A Right Laff ^^
And Laser Tag ( didn't get to do it last time )
Umm I'm Up For Anything Not That It Helps Lol
